coolant spraying on airbox very fine mist think its hitting a pulley or belt and appearing on airbox and under bonnet.Sorry have no pictures as have not used car in a while and engine bay all cleaned up seems to do it on hard acceleration, very minor does not seem to be using any water any ideas guys.Hoping its not the water pump but probably is.

Probably pin hole in a pipe, but could be water pump leak.
Get looking with a torch

If it's coolant, the level has to drop? Is it definitely coolant

its a very small amount so water level has not been affected but you can smell the coolant so deffo has leak somewhere.

I wouldn't leave until April, even if it is laid up and not driven.

Lick the liquid ... if you couldnt drink a pint of it ...its coolant !!

On a more serious note, wash it off if vehicle laid up for a while, of course ...you will probably have done this already ...but just wanted to prove not all I post is bollox ...just 98% of it !!
