Default Meet Triggers Broom at Murketts tomorrow Jan 11th

For one day only !! this Icon amongst Icons will be on display to a limited crowd at Murketts - Huntingdon Bring the kids along and visit the many stalls and sideshows, included but NOT limited to the following :-

1 Shake the O/S Driveshaft up and down competition and guess the amount of movement in thou of an inch.
2 Challenge a partner to who can fix/glue both the drives and passenger side door seals back in place.
3 Dance and shake to the sound of "the loose back bumper" a 2 piece band from Cleethorpes.
4 Play rip the O/S mid panel trim off and shove it back on again.
5 Play "Hunt the missing 4th gear" ..Shimmy and Lawsy couldnt find the fooker !!
6 Time trial yourself on oil and filter change, includes full airbox removal and dipstick check....ah .... im not going to be there so cancel dipstick check !
7 Play count the coil packs when they have all been replaced with new ones (not done with new engine) a clue the figure is between 5 & 7. PS I will have 6 "used" coils available should anyone fall foul over a week-end, or just prior to a TD or before or during a Ring trip. If yours are still original, Murketts are seeing a number of corroded ones nowadays so I'm changing all mine before we get stuck into the good weather.
8 Play "hold the car on the handbrake" ..... not possible ! dont work !

Sadly it looks as though this will be the first visit to Murketts where I have to pay for something !

Asked Adrian about Andy and not much change really, Adrian sees him a couple of times a week but Andy is too weak to do much. He seems to be battling on, this is his 3rd month since being given the bad news so fingers crossed for him still.

For 1) - TADTS, don't they ? At least my old car did and so does the CSL. My Indy, who's taken one to bits, reckons it's just designed that way, as there's more support on the N/S shaft than on the O/S.

TADTS ?? They All Do That Silly ?? ... yes, its been said before, and Steve aka Azreal was told same ....werent you mate ? ... but there is something not quite right about a high speed (which mine quite clearly is ) rotating body with a large amount of lift in it ... I have had diff seals replaced only a year ago, so dont want to knock them out again.

Duncan, I don't know you well enough mate to call you Silly... Although having seen some of the pictures post here, actually, strike that comment.

"They All Do That Sir" is of course the dealer's favourite answer to any complaint about any car.

Let us know what the guys at Murketts say.
