I can't see how an aggressive sprint pad can be as kind to the disks as an endurance pad, or what is the point of them making the endurance pad?

So I am back to square one then?? haha
Looks like I will have to give the 01 on the front and 97 on the rear compound a go from PF. |

if you have rear DS2500, use them and stick some RS29 in the front, PF01 if you prefer

If you get rid of ds2500 and use something proper on the rear the fronts won't be worked so hard anyway?

Have just had this exact setup, and yeah its good but the fronts are overworked as Nath has said need something with a bit more torque in the rear. Thats why I was thinking of going for the 01 up front and the 97 at the rear, plus the 01 will be better suited to the PF discs up front. But then I could put RS14 all round but I think this will be too much for the rear and will lock up frequently under brakes. |

Brake set up and opinion seems to be very wide ranging leading me to the conclusion that it very much depends on your driving style. Try stuff out yourself using the info people give you and test it out. You will come up with your own preference. Just read Titans brake thread (if you can get through it without cutting your wrists) to find that one out. Or (God help us) find Fuch's opinion.
Mine is AP's all round with PF discs up front, std discs rear and RS29's all round. Took some messing around to get there and may not suit everyone but for the way I use my car it's the best set up I've had.

I've got a set of RS29 lying around so next track day it will be a morning/afternoon comparison
