Default Headgasket gone?

Dropped the CSL in to Technosport last week on the way to the airport and asked for a Spec I and to check out that dodgy noise I have...

Leak down test showing loss of pressure Cyl4 in to Cyl3 - so probable HG failure - but investigation continues!

Doh!

Off for a beer and a kebab (in Turkey)

Will be a very common S54 factor for cars being' tracked.

Mine and Duncans both done last twelve months about 60k+ miles, just wear and tear after all that heat and combustion

find my old thread Mole and take a look at my recommendations whilst it is in fir the work. I changed plugs, coilpacks, water pump, cleaned rads inside and out, thermostat, belts.

If you have warranty get them to do it.

Can't you get a stronger Gasket too? Just a thought, maybe some kind of racing type one?

Here's Shimmy's thread starting from Page 3

Let us know how you get on.

Starting to think that paying the £2k + for another years warranty was a good idea
