Default Driver training courses?

Hi,

I'm thinking that i'd like to get on a one day driver training course using the CSL to enable me to learn the car better at the limits on a closed course and be able to do 'stuff' in safety...!

I'm thinking of the following full day at £325:

http://www.driverdp.com/hancourse.asp

Has anyone got experience of these courses and any recommendations?

Cheers,

Rob.

A friend is doing one in his CSL in December at http://www.millbrook.co.uk/proving_driver.asp

The one you are thinking of doing looks good though.

I have done Driver DP, you use a skid pan and stuff.... good fun but not sure how much of a better driver you'll be. Good confidence building for going sideways though.

Thats what i need - i have very good judgment of where the limits are, but having owned AWD car's for the last 10 years i'm not so good at correcting tail end slides

Its very good value actually, you also do an alpine style track. It is at the Prodrive centre.

yes i did an andy walsh car limits day in March this year and will do another in Spring 2009 so if anybody wants to fill up a 4 car day then join the party!!

best way is to go speak with him with 4 cars and bargain for £450 total rather than £199 a head
