Exclamation BMW Radio Question. HELP!!!

Weird one here,

On my wifes BM it has a hard wired Nokia hands free kit.

This was fitted to the car upon purchase but will be removed at some point as none of us own a Nokia.

Now the car has the Multi-function steering wheel with the Telephone button and also a button on the head unit it's self.

So to today, went in shopping and when we came out and started the car we had no radio....all we have is a message on the head unit "Telephone Active"
Nothing removes this, nothing at all

Have tried all buttons on the head unit and wheel with nothing. Menu, Audio, function buttons do nothing either. all we can do is switch the head unit on and off.
Not ideal as it's a new car to her, only had it since Fri so she is nae happy.
Annoying thing is i drove the 550miles home with the car on Fri and never had a problem at all. Music all the way

Anyone have any ideas as to what might be wrong????

Its an 06 3 series without Satnav so just the basic BMW Professional head unit

Cheers,

Sorry haven't got a clue! How about whip the headunit out (should only take 2 mins if anything like the CSL) and try removing the hands free kit?

Yeah thought it might be something to do with the Nokia kit.

Going to remove it next dry day we have up here.

Cheers
