I think it was his first track day, thankfully he had taken out insurance.
Both driver and passenger looked ok.

I'm with Dan on this one.

If you don't want your number plate shown on web site you have two choices

1. Don't do a Trackday because even the trackday organiser's arrange photographers, never minded every other track car has camera.

OR

2. Cover or take off your own number plates.

It's as easy as that,

I still feel it is bad to post pictures of others misfortune and i would not do it, number plates or not!

IF ones wife and kids get mown down on the side of the road by a drunken driver i would not want the press splashing it all over the place!

Different if you post up the pics yourself of your own misfortune.

Agree Shimster but hardly a sensible comparison, someone having an accident on a trackday or someone losing their wife and kids!

As I said, fook know's where it came from and who's pic it is, but as TS said the reality is it's up on the internet like millions of other car pics so I don't think any harm done!

Personally I hope I'm NEVER in this situation but if I was and someone did post a pic of my wrecked car up then it wouldn't really bother me

I can see where you are coming from and do agreed with part of your views, but someone's wife and kids is a little different.

You can take the stance ie. like the Ring does, where they act as if nothing happens (unless you crash into one of there barriers) ie. not releasing figures of accident or death's and encourage families day out on the circuit as if its a roller coaster ride.

I think this is a good reminder that speed related sports and hobbies are dangerous, and for all of us to take care. Because it can happen to any of us at any time.

That was me on cups did'nt get much of a chance to go out yesterday way too wet until i noticed a slight damp dry line an hr after lunch when it stopped raining for 40 mins or so so could'nt restist some 25 mins of a run but i certainly did'nt feel confident to push it got some va va vroom on the straights but very carefull around corners.

DSM worked overtime..

To my surprise the cups worked out not as bad as i thought in those conditions.

Two wks of csl ownership and i throw myself right into the deep end, next purchase some spare rims and F1's.

Nice car terry and nice to meet you simon like what you've done to your m3.

Awesome car the CSL btw cant wait to get in the dry.

Feb weather= fucking freezing

And the 888 are known to work well on the porkies, probably due to all weight on the rear which are usually 295+ wide.

Buy a set Matt, you will be fine on them, mr "DSC on"
