What toe settings are you running? I've never had inside tyre wear problems on the ring due to camber alone.

The toe setting were only slight, around 0.01

But I do think the rear bush on the front wishbone is deflecting changing to toe angle under braking.

I don't know enough about that, but certainly toe out (planned or otherwise) can cause the inner wear problems you're describing. I used to run about 3.5 degrees on the front and didn't have big wear problems.

I agree with Steve there. I run -3 degrees with no inside wear issues.

Duncan, I have just had Intrax fitted 3 weeks ago and have only driven home from Simpson MS, about 20 miles so can't comment at the moment. Hope to do Snetterton in Oct to fiddle about before Ring in November. As far as I know dampers are set to middle to start with.

Speak to Shimmy. He's had Intrax for some time.

i have Ik2 so only one adjuster on each wheel (dead easy) but i think Duncans car has 4 way. Andrew will know about settings for the ring but i think he did no other tracks as far as i can remember

front camber for me is -2.5 although ideally i need -3.0 for some uk tracks to get the most wear out of the Cups. I tend to go for tyre life span rather than max grip so at places like Bedford i might even run -2.0 to avoid inner tyre wear on those long straights

lately my cups tend to wear pretty evenly but maybe just a fracgtion more on the outside hence my need for slightly more neg camber, although my road tyres (now old) are def wearing more on the inside (hecne why i stayed at -1.5/-2.5 with the adjustable camber plates

looking at my geo i think (if it makes sense) my track toe is 0.5mm out??

Thx Alex, Shimmy, methinks that i will bring the big blue folder Andrew gave me up to the bedroom ! It will raise the height of the TV at least so i can see the subtitles on the naughty German movies! There were some settings in there I recall which were Ring specific. I would also be doing some Bedford track days as its on my doorstep so advice on the changes required/advised would be appreciated, unless someone has come up with a CLS/TRACK/SETTINGS folder on here.
With the wealth of knowledge you guys have, maybe 10 of you could arrive at a reasonable starting benchmark for some of the popular tracks, thats my lazy side coming in !! All monies I save will be spent over the bar in Blaue Ecke...well...some of it anyway.

I'm the same as Shimmy - running neg 2.5 degrees on track this yearbut have found it to be just not enough as my Cup tyre have worn on the outsides prematurely...

Will run neg 3.0 degrees now.

i have loads of setting for different tracks based on Dontdobends blue folder and my experiences this year but not sure how it relates to 4 way Intrax tbh

I have been to Bedford more times than i care to remember. Biggest issue there is that it kills brakes and tyres very easily so take it easy on number of laps especially when air temp warm.

Intrax Ik2 clicks from hardest setting as follows if it helps.

Road - F20, R25
Bedford F10 R12
Silverstone, Snett - F9, R13
Donny - F11, R14

Just as a comparison Dontdobends had the Ring down as F18, R22 9nearly road settings)
