Well the cd player has got no display but still has tunes has any 1 had this before ?

Its in bmw on monday to get a new clutch and they are going to have a look

Update the radio was f**ked new 1 going in tomorrow as is a new clutch and flywheel

I hope this is the end of the warranty work summer is almost over

dont worry, if you need an new BMW E46 Business Radio the new from >2005 plays MP3, but carefully, only from VDO/Siemens, the other (Blaupunkt or Philips) cant play MP3

Actually that's wrong - anything made post 2003 should be able to play MP3 - then there are the ones that are IPod compatible and satelite radio capable.

And it's actually made by Alpine.

Just make sure it's a CD53 - these are the last of the lot and plays MP3 - I have one in my car and it works great.

Well i cant be any good at BJs Glendog they have taken a CD out and fitted a tape deck LOL luck it was not an 8track

I shall post a pix of it soon almost fit for a museum
