Your SS box is fucked, no way is it anywhere near that noise level static even with cats, as ive said before non-res can push the limits at Bedford o a full system but 9/10 times it will be ok

I have the FULL system tip to tail with LW Race/100 cell SS cats/ non-res centre and SS headers and I think its on or about 102db.

You realise all this trick exhaust kit makes you neither faster nor a better driver ?

According to Supersprint's dyno figures the full system gives 15bhp and subtracts 13kg from the weight of the OE set-up, so it should be a bit faster .

When mine is hot it quieten's down a little, but Snetterton is only 3 miles from my house, so I have to go for a bit of a drive to get it hot enough to dip under even their limit of 105dB. The first time I just drove straight their and was surprised that it failed . Never had it even come close to tripping the 92dB drive-by as far as I am aware, but I just have to make sure it is fully warm before doing a noise test .
