Greetings and thinking of buying this - anyone know it?
Hey everyone.
This is my first post on the forums. Hello to all. I'm a complete newbie to CSLs, I have an E46 M3, and am about to enter the heady world of CSL ownership. I'm a big petrolhead, but not very knowledgable. I've been offered a grey CSL. I'll have it inspected of course, but everyone I've asked, including the m3cutters guys, has said I should ask if anyone knows the car on here. It's one of the grey ones and the reg is XXXXXXX. Assuming that's the reg it's been wearing, does anyone know it? If it were known here I'd be less terrified of the step into fragile racehorse car ownership that may start for me next week! Thanks anyone with any info. And greetings to everyone anyway. While this is my first post, I'm looking forward to being a member of the register. That car has some very entertaining history, at least:

Wow. That was more exciting than I expected!
Personally I think the story is quite amusing, but do you reckon that's the type of thing that is going to affect it on resale? I don't see why it should, but like I said, I'm new to this. |

It's nothing worse than one being ragged on a track and it sure wouldn't put me off buying it. |
