Looks like I may be a late entrant to the party. Nick Johnson has been nagging me to try Papenburg for ages and the opportunity to carry onto Assen and then Spa seems too good to miss.

Anyways, in the hope I can meet up with some hardcore CSL folk on the trip, I was just wondering which hotels people were heading for?

- Mercure in Groningen for a couple of nights (11/12th) as this covers Papenburg and not too far to Assen (though there is the Van der Valk in Assen).

- Radisson Blu in Francochamps, or Hotel de la Source right next to Spa are similarly priced (13/14th) ?

Any other tips regarding routes appreciated. I'll probably be taking the Eurotunnel on Saturday if there was a chance of joining a convoy...

great, hope im there but if I am I think I will be Mecure, Groningen on Sunday night and Radisson Blu Palace on Monday night before Spa.

Not doing Papenburg now but will be driving over Sunday daytime if at all.

Wow, the list dwindled fast! Hope those on the fence, injured or with car issues can make it.

Saw the Dr today who categorically told me i cant go. Im gonna sleep on it and see how it feels in the morning ;0 before i decide.
