Looks like someone tried to recreate the pre-production model, 3 previous owners and green springs? Wonder what the service history has to say?
Needs putting back to original to be classed as a concours example, however the asking price is likely to be in excess of £60K. The non-option example (Now Sold) NJ was looking for £50K+ obviously Less is More!

He was going for the preproduction look as far as I remember. Check out the stickers on the tyres,
Not sure about the Tein springs though, are the originals made by Tein?? I don't think so... |

that is fcuking awesome. what a car and prep.
I reckon that would be worth £70k plus. if that 9k mile one went for 80k (with that m3 CSL plate) I would say this is even better?

Did he somehow get one of the original engine covers, or is that aftermarket?

That is an aftermarket engine cover as is the CF cover on top of the radiator.
Nice car but if you bought it you'd just be thinking how much money your taking off with each mile and when to get some decent brakes. If I had £50K or £60K burning a hole in my pocket then I'd buy it to park in the living room

Yeah, it's got aftermarket tat all over it, and the engine's probably seized up too...break it for parts I reckon...
My issue with this : the CSL is such a joy to drive, owning one like this means you miss out on the driving experience. Which is the point of owning a CSL... For me, better to invest in a car you don't really want to drive. |
