I believe BMW took the correct decision because they already put a carbon roof in both of M3/M4 cars. This thing of course doesn't make them a CSL BUT....for one reason i don't like to hear and see that the coupe version of the new M3 is called M4.. WTF is going on with BMW??

CSL is a different car referred to different approaches..

For me, nowadays, M stands for Marketing and BMW stands for "Becoming Much Worse"

Totally agree with you Alx. I believe that nowadays big brands cares only about the sales and profits. The feeling of driving a very special car like a CSL or a M3 E30 Sport Evolution have long gone... Τhey made the GTS just for profit. No CSL feeling at all... An easy to drive car with now any driving pleasure and rewarding.. If you want to drive fast a CSL you have to be focused and have fast reflexes. In the end of the day the moral compensation you get is incredible!! With the GTS you don't get that. I believe and this is clearly my personal opinion that BMW reached the peak with the M3 E46 and the CSL version. Then the BMW cars we used to know cam.e in a new production era. More shit cars for more money, more exports in other countries like China because the market is still rich..which 'forced' BMW to lose the great driving sensation they had. How many versions of the M3 E92 were made in order to make a lot of money.?? BMW ended up like Lamborghini...with so many versions... The last recent and great BMW model in BMW's history that i really enjoyed to drive it, is the 1M.
