What about the parts for these cars , do people think this will reflect in the price of these cars, BMW dragging there heals on parts is not ideal, I would be pissed off if I spent £25+k on a CSL then something went wrong with it only for it to sit in elms for 6 months or more waiting on parts , this sort of situation must reflect on prices, after all its a CSL genuine BMW parts will only do

IMHO lack of parts puts the price of the car UP not Down. It means spares are more sought after so even scrapper 150k mile cars go up in price.

I don't think warranty allow second hand parts and the situation is today not 5 or 10 years down the line after all genuine is what people will be looking for not a fist full of receipts from the local scrap yard who has sold them M3 parts as this does not make a CSL

Then warranties will drop off and cars will be unwarranted. Down forget most non UK cars don't have warranties and prices are even higher than uk.

A classic will appreciate. A classic with lack of spares supplies wil appreciate even faster and then the parts will be made by someone as it makes financial sense.

Not my field but that's how I see it.
