Its funny you should say that as I am currently tempted with a 1M, the CSL is a very special car but I find myself missing the mid range grunt at times as the CSL's power (and noise) is all at the top of the rev range and on the road its often hard to exploit that.

Me too, a nice white 1...... but people keep putting their CSLs up for sale so I don't bother or I take the CSL out for a blast and think "this really is a great car"...

The M3 CSL is a difficult act to follow, unless you willing to double your budget for only a 20% improvement
