Default Car Insurance Things to Check

Renewing the mrs mini insurance & came across two new extras in my discussions.

£25 to repair a windscreen chip. Might as well wait until it needs replacing.
£250 charge if I want to nominate which garage I want the car repaired at, i.e. if its not on their limited approved list.

Have any of you come across any other little gems?

Yes, I have seen that/those. Buy cheap, buy twice. It is the standard excesses they put on the policies these days. It used to be £50, £100 or £250 and now it is £750!!!

These days car insurance seems to have more provisos than the Mrs puts down before a night out with the lads .
