Think crossing for two with car is about £300 with nice cabin both ways.the high speed cat is now in Ireland too costly apparently but the overnight ferry is great and can travel Thursday night Friday morning in Holland all fresh and fed.

Yes we do Vic, but Cecil is a bit of a waste on UK Motorways with The Plod Gestapo and their petty speed pistols
It's OK for some who live a stone throw away from The EURO Tunnel.
I need to brake up the monotony of the M11, M25 & the E40 after 10 Years + of shlepping up & down that particular corridor.

Tbh anybody who is m25 or southwest and south east ferry from harwich will be as expensive, more miles or more time. I did it last time as going to Zandvoort so saved money. Miles and time, but to the ring not so sure.

I'm happy with this time Friday to Eurotunnel and leisurely drive to the Ring for steak and a beer.

Agreed i live only 10 miles from the harwich so its a very handy crossing.
I once went to dover for a ring trip on my old ZX7R and nearly got done for speeding, the journey down was a chore trying to stay legal on a sportsbike.

I'll post some revised times on #1 but reckon we should shoot for 900/1000 so we get plenty of beer time at Ring on Fri avo
