You cannot go wrong with RS29 pads. Can we make this a law please?

Traction on or off?

Yes, yes, thanks everyone for pointing out my schoolboy errors. Personally, I've had no problem with braking stability on the track with the 2500s on the rear, but that's most likely because I'm lapping about a minute behind the nearest Suzuki Swift.

I also rarely have the balls to drive with the traction off on track unless it's either (1) wet with lots of run off, in which case 'Dukes of Hazard' or (2) dry as a bone. I've heard that running with the traction on and triggering it will heat up the rear discs, but don't know if that's a forum myth or not and don't really care.

Shimmy, I put the PF pads in the other way round but made no difference. Spoke to AP and they reckon I need some kind of additional buffer to stop them rattling, but have now lost patience and car goes in to Elms in Feb for some TLC anyway, so hoping Gareth can work his magic.

Agreed!!! Same pad compound front and rear seems to work best.....

I second that proposal 'RS29' all round for me too.
