The rear seats is a big issue with both the Porsche and the CSL; the Porsche doesn't have any to speak of, whereas the CSL does.

However in and outing to access the rear seats of the CSL can present more problems, the interior trim; rear seat bolsters front seat backs ares coated with what can be best described as 'Plastisol' not very forgiving catch it an you mark it. Dropping the rears seats also causes scuffs and tares which then can develop into scabs where the coating begins to lift.

Conclusion: Both cars are useless for nipping to B&Q and as for passengers; one you can't have, the other you don't want. The rear of mine has never been sat in, nor is it likely to be. (three children 2, 5, 11)

I'm rather less militant than you Neil - although I do make the kids (8 & 10 now) take their shoes off for longer journeys.

For me a big attraction of the CSL is that you can fit stuff in the back with the seats down, and it's very viable for ferrying the kids around occasionally. You do have to be a bit careful with the cheapo plastic bits and CF centre console, but if you're not going to use the rear seats or boot, why not get a GT3 instead ?

Quite simply - I don't want one. I was confined to the rear of a 911SC when I was a child and that put me off for life

I feel your pain! Reckon we should start a support group for people who grew up being crammed into the back of G Series 911s? I always get a slight ache in my spine every time I see a crab/lobster coloured interior.

All I can remember about it was, that it had a Black 1/2 leather interior with black pinstripe fabric panels. Exterior was Silver not unlike the CSL and it had a huge whale tail where the air con rad was.
Now will you stop empathising and get those AP's pulled off

I feel the pain of getting into the back of the CSL, I'm heavy set and getting in the back to clean the windows was a right mission lol...
