Default Help what has happend

Had some second hand kw3 fitted friday ,tracking and alinement done today .
Took it for a run hit a bit of bump a crash from rear end 4" of steel pin with nut on sticking through suspension in boot.
Awaiting 5 hrs for recovery

Sounds like either your topmount failed, turret tower failed or installation error.

I've done this. The top mount has failed, with the chrome part of the shock absorber coming up into the boot. In my case, it was becasue the large dome-shaped washer that fits over the threaded top of the shock has too small a hole for the KWs. Without it, a decent hole in the road will send the shock through the mount.

There will be no damage to the car - just take the boot carpet up round the shock mounts and replace the originals with the Rogue Engineering version. I've been trouble-free since.

Makes a crappy noise, doesn't it?
