Default I need tyres

Do I go with the tried and tested Michelin's/Conti's or do I try the Vredestein Ultrac's which are basically 100 quid per corner cheaper and get awesome reviews?

anyone tried the vred's?

Is this for track or road work?

road.

one or two trackdays a year, max. Track isn't really a consideration in this purchase. I'll get cups for track if i really want to.

I knew this is what you guys would say but is there any basis for it?

do you think I would actually notice any difference between the two?

Vredestein actually have better review than PS2/Supersport!

I'll probably just cave and buy Michelin, I can't stand mis matched tyres and the Michelin's on the front have quite a bit of life left

I run Falken FK452's for the road - cica £450 for a set seem pretty good.

Cups for the track
