Mine went into ,Murketts Yesterday for an early service and Ive just had a light coming on/off last few days.
Turned out to be a repeat fault code for the rear Lambda sensor so its being changed under warranty. Also found out I'm getting a new wheel bearing, power steering pipes, Ball joint, two new rear springs and a new Diff. Matty |

Very common fault.
It'll be bank 2 rear lambda (I've seen about 4 CSLs with this same, all the same) - it's an emission thing, won't affect the running of the engine. There are 4 lambdas in our car - 2 pre cat and 2 post cats (the pre-cats are an absolute pain the arse to change). Best prices I've see are from e-bay - go search on there, plenty of cheap aftermarkets that work just fine without issues. If it's the pre-cat, then I'd stick with the more reputable brands, as those do affect engine running. |
