A remap although not necessary
Ap racing bbk, stoptechs, alcons or brembo GT bbk. Cups -michies or toyo r888 Coilovers - kw clubsports, intrax There's many more mods, but at the end of the day it depends what you want from your car. IMHO csl is near perfect in standard form. |

unless you upgrade brakes first - you'll be going through your brake pads like there's no tomorrow... better tyres, last longer too.
once you have learnt how to drive properly - then i suppose you don't need anything but then again, you need regular practice too. |

a novice will be on the brakes more often - it's a fact. you need brakes to perform as intended - don't you? when they fade, you might as well hit a wall to stop. your advice is potentially dangerous. |

That's why driver training is No 1. You will know that some CSL drivers still use the standard set-up but are very quicker than those with the AP set-up. Short circuits, a different story. The 'Ring time of 7:50 -was that with the standard brakes? And how many times should you brake at the 'Ring? |

7.50 - time set by a professional on one lap of the ring - 20.6 km long... on an empty road. what happens when you have to brake very hard twice in a row? do that and see what happens for yourself. |

Gaute was properly quick in his on OEM brakes, Chalkie was also very, very quick on OEM brakes, both guys just did pads and fluid.
Better tyres than Cups? You mean Slicks then as there is nothing road legal and better.
