I rode down x-country from Reading. Left home at 6.50, got a totally clear run at the A339 from Basingstoke to Alton, which is almost unheard of, but the wet road + leaves meant taking it a bit easier than usual on the corners. Heated grips and vest meant it was actually quite pleasant, even though the temp gauge was reading 4C.
It was bloody freezing at Goodwood, and actually not all that many really exceptional cars to look at - lots and lots of Pork, and a few interesting BMWs. I heard some bloke on his mobile lamenting that "They're letting everything in, it's like fecking Asda's carpark" I didn't stay too long as I needed to get back on the bike to get warm again. I did see the CSLs in the paddock and a couple on the track but there was no-one around to say hello to at the time. Few pics below. The slighty streetfightered boxer was really nice, but ffs surely could have come up with a better solution for the numberplate! Enjoyable morning anyway.

Thats where the rest of the CSL crew massive were hiding! Didn't manage to get right down the front of that paddock.
Explains the miscounted 3, making the 7. |

Evening all - shame I didn't get to see anyone, but Shimmy called my plate right. Was about 9am when I arrived and no-one else was being let in, so I had to dump it there. Bit parky today.
Their were quite a few cars from the BMW GB fleet on the grid, including that CSL with the splitter missing. |
