I'd like to go in with a boring answer on the suspension.

Unless you're a racing driver, doing ring trips or use it extensively on the road, leave the thing alone.

On the road it can be a little harsh. I've done two UK tracks in the CSL with its stock suspension and its absolutely fine although if I'm being picky I'd say it doesn't deal with kerbs well. But stay off them ;-)

Doubt I'd want to tank round the 'ring with it though. I like battering the kerbs there and I think I'd want something a little more forgiving.

as for the brakes, APs or Alcons (CSL Cup Kit) I guess. I disagree with lawsy on the alcon balance issue, you can address that with different pad compounds. I'm currently running RS29s all round, will switch to carbotech XP10 front and XP8 rear. Also dependant on a great many other factors like personal preference and driving style, suspension etc.

Tried different compounds front to rear. Still had the same issues.
It lost me 1-2 seconds a lap, such was the way I felt it unsettled the car.

On standard suspension it lacked front end grip only due to the lack of adjustability.

Stock suspension with camber adjustable top mounts would be a great, road/track/ring set-up IMO.
