Just wondered - every time i enquire after a 2nd hand Gruppe M exhaust the person selling it NEVER has any proof of its authenticity or any kind of receipt etc. They always seem to have bought it off some bloke who bought it off some bloke etc etc. So - does ANYONE out there actually own a Gruppe M exhaust for their CSL or M3 who bought it direct from Gruppe or from an official distributor and therefore have PROOF that it is a GENUINE item???
Ive enquired about at least 4 Gruppes over last few months and every time the person selling it has no way of proving its authenticity. Im just curious to know if there are actually any genuine ones out there - cos there are so many fakes and they still seem to fetch big money which is crazy as they often restrict power!!

Mine was second hand off a guy on anothe forum..... I think you can send in photo's to gruppe m and they will verify whether its real or not. You can tell by the welds.
