Hi guys,

I am delighted since I put today my SS race lightweight backbox.
I bought it used from a guy here in Zurich.
A-ma-zi-ng. I am very happy with it

Let's see what backbox the CSL owners run...
A poll...

Cool!

You should have come round the Ring in my car last month - SS race backbox, SS unresonated centre section & no rear seat solutions

Some laps would be excellent Rob, but this solution is too hardcore for Switzerland

After having a Borla on the car for the last 4+ years I took it off, sold it and went back to OEM ... couldn't have been happier to be honest. Great low end torque is back and great noise from the intake. I don't miss the aftermarket exhaust a bit

I voted other as i have recently fitted one of the Scorpion ones.

Having issues with noise tests at some UK circuits though.

Croft the other week had a 95db static limit and i scraped through @94.7
Got two black flags for noise while out on track though so ended up fitting some trick bolt on silencers i made up which brought me back down to 92db.

Can see me going back to OEM also as i cant be bothered with this every track day.

Running Milltek at the moment and happy with it apart from the exhaust tips which i think im going to change.

Love the sound of the SS and if one comes up might treat the car to it but we will see as there not cheap

Just go to TDs that have higher limits: most tend to be 97dB or so.

Croft's noise limits are probably lower nowadays as they had a court ruling go against that last year and also have less available TDs. Bedford & Castle Combe are also rather strict on noise.

Fellow supersprint race lightweight owners...
What figures do you get when they measure the car on the track ?

Cheers
