I am surprised that you say it is a PITA to install .. I actually find it 'easier' to install and align compared to the OEM bumper - you just have to use the right method to do it.

One thing though, it does add quite a bit more weight to the front end of the car

Never installed an OEM one, but to get the Vorsteiner sitting perfectly it takes a long time, I had to dremel the slider mounting holes, etc.

Update .. ready for track (I know the colour's a bit off ... didn't give the painter the correct sample to colour match ... so really my fault - no matter though)

Yeah, tell me about it! Just been for a quick blast for the first time in two months and made myself 2 hours of cleaning work before it goes back in the garage.

Worth it though. I forget how much fun it is to drive.
