Haven't had warranty cover for over 18months now. Car sailed through it's inspection II the other week. It's just covered 47,000miles now.

I'm sure those that do have cover make use of it over and above what is actually necessary and I'd do the same if I spent that much every year on top of insurance and fuel

I have a letter from BMW Insurance Warranty dated November 2009, informing me that my renewal premium will be £1188.00 when my current BMW Warranty runs out at the end of August 2010

Your lucky you've even had a letter Matt! I've still had fuck all from them since the 9th February and seeing as I work in insurance and have done for 10 years knowing whats required from them I have decided they ARE fucking useless cunts!

I just hope that WHEN I need to claim it is actually in place and BMW arn't as fucking useless!

IF the car is ok with it's Inspection II this year then I doubt I'll go as mad with it again to be honest...

No I'm better now hence the usual bad mood and swearing a lot!

Safe to say an email to them won't suffice this time, they'll be getting a call in the morning that's for sure!

Mine on 62k, gets tracked a little, odd trip to the Fatherland so .. better to have and not need ... than need and not have is my motto.
My premium for the last year commencing Oct 09 was £89/month, includes the Emergency Recovery as well, so its the Plus package. Just had the head gasket done which would have cost circa £1,600, so happy days here ... you could say im in profit . Lets face it, if the engine does let go and you dont have warranty what are you going to do with whats left ? .... give us lot on here first refusal thats what !!!

Awful isn't it! When I sell an insurance policy at work I have to send the paperwork out for the client 1st Class and same day! They seem very incompetant!
