My new car!
After some research and careful consideration, i opted to go for an E36 328i Sport for my new daily driver rather than an E36 M3. There didn't seem much point buying another M3 when a CSL lurks in the garage...!
Anyway, i was lucky enough to stumble over this gem on an ad in www.e36coupe.com and i arranged to view it today. It is a late build car (1999) in a rare Individual 'Santorini Blue' paint. To say that it is immaculate would be an understatement! It has been owned by successive enthusiasts and you really wouldn't know that it is almost 11 years old I drove it a fair bit today and was pleasantly surprised by its performance too - even compared to CSL standards!

Congrats The 2.8i is a GREAT engine and no "Nickel seal" issues on yours as it's a 1999 car. Interesting RARE colour and the fact that it must be one of the very last E36 produced ('99 on a T) I had a 1999 E46 328i Touring few year back with almost identical 2.8i straight SIX and it wasn't slow. Held it's own... even @ the Ring |
