Just North of Buckingham? My son goes to Chackmore/Akeley.

No way we're ever going to clarify it I'm afraid, I've been told by numerous people high and low at BMW that TMS is respected enough for the stamp to be considered the equivalent of a dealer, but getting that in writing just isn't going to happen sadly.

Small world! Ex Akeley Wood, a long time ago now - 12 years. Still have alot of friends in the area.

I'll call the warranty people, see if I can get any sense out of them....... Otherwise looks like I'll have to get r#ped at a dealer.

Thanks for your advice. Will pop to see you one of these days, as I'm tempted by a backbox.

Andy Pressland @ Murketts Huntingdon is your man. Top notch service, knowledgeable and very friendly + they offer the 6+ discount program so reasonably priced too (for BMW main dealer)

Shimmy - That would be very kind, thank you!

If you could also ask for a price for a brake fluid change that would be great!

S.mac - Thank you, I assume that is Murketts...

Chandlers Brighton have quoted £475 for the Insp 1, and £75 for the brake fluid change with the 6+ discount. The cheapest so far.

Yes it was, I was expecting about £400+ as I paid somewhere near £700 for my inspection 2

I have to say, I'm unpleasantly surprised. These are quiet high prices, £175 (with 6+ discount) for an oil change is almost ludicrous I wonder if Andy will let me bring my own Castrol 10/60 for my next service (oil) to keep the cost down
