Ok, so here are the dyno maps. On 2 different days, 1 std and 1 with map. Hope it works as I'm not used to posting photos.

I was told the following which makes sense:

2 different days, same map vs standard.

It shows the gains are consistent ignoring what the dyno readings say. Basically it's taking the correction factors out of the equation.

Also, notice the control point at 6500rpm. It's where I didn't change anything on the map so the two lines should meet in that area to show there is no BS going on.

So the gains are are around 10-12hp peak and more at around 4600rpm.

Guys, a bit of an update on this.

Car went into Andy at Murketts a couple of weeks back. Had a new clutch, flywheel, software, rtabs etc. all done under warranty. Also had the seat adjusted to tilt forward and that has made a huge difference to me, can really throw the car around even more now.

Anyway, got in the car at Murketts to drive home, turn it on and think, bloody hell, car's a bit quiet? Turn right out of the dealership and up to the roundabout and think, damn this feels a bit slow. Thought maybe I should turn around and go and get it checked out. Then I realised that the sport button wasn't on.

My remap from Evolve had programmed sport button memory. So basically the remap had been wiped when the did the clutch software. All I can say is that the remap was clearly bloody good because the difference was instantly noticeable. The remap also made the car sound louder and more mean so missing that as well.

Anyways, taking the car to Evolve next week to get it remapped for free again and may as well get my pads, hose and fluid done at the same time ready for SPA/Ring. Just thought I'd share with you guys.

He reckons he can get 300bhp out of my wifes X3 3.0d sport as well. Might get that done as well..........won't tell the mrs. though, lol.

Anis

Know the feeling!!!

I think youll find BMW have a new SMG software update an dthis was installed on your box

Mine was done as well

I bet it slows the gearchanges down and saves BMW some clutch money

ive had mine remapped by Evolve and you guys coming in Wednesday are more than welcome to give it a go.

I had it done briefly before my recent visit to BMW but then returned to stock for a while but now have it back on again

Ill do a full review later after Bedford and Snetterton this week but it really IS worth doing
