Off to bed for some self love ...nite all !
youll get some exhaust note as well as induction roar Duncan

it may affect the noise inside the car but if you keep standard centre section this seems to be best bet to avoid headaches!

bhp improvements virtually NONE but youll save quite a few kgs

I doubt it - you will be fine at most tracks bar Bedford...

I need to hear one of these in the flesh methinks ... and make a judgement... so assuming my complete auspuffer system is stock, (I suppose i ought to check what i have first !) what do you Guru's recommend? So far I have retain OEM centre section to prevent the old pain in der kopf.

Standard system - except backbox, the perfect compromise between achieving a little extra aggression under acceleration whilst minimising additional cabin drone.

My system is ideal imho: Standard + SS lightweight race rear silencer = 97db on noise tests.

Rob
is there any track your race box has tripped the noise meters on or have you done Bedford with it ?

I hear U Rob, but I don't have that option of Standard Cats & middle section and would like to utilise what I do have already. Last thing I want is to end up loosing my money on another Back box experiment, which makes my CSL too loud and unbearable, like the Milltek MK2 saga. Last time I was measured for noise was @ Brands Hatch, it was 89 dB with SS 100 cell Racing Cats, SS middle section and O.E. CSL specific but heavy, back box . I'm guessing here but with the SS Race light weight + my existing set up I'm going to be at around 100 dB, if not more, hence the slightly more sensible Supersprint option
