If you have two CSLs that have the same mileage, same number of owners, same condition, which one will go for more? The bare bones or the optioned one?

In the future the optionless one may be more desireable to buyers, but most like creature comforts, most requests on here seem to want a/c, xenons, I used mine this year in the summer and had no issues, I dont use it much as I use my work van everyday then in the family bus of weekends. I did not miss the a/c one bit, i only tend to use ac in traffic queues in my other cars.

A real boffin/purist may want an optionless one, but the masses will desire creature comforts.

I was looking for a bare bone, and still miss A/C on the trips to Italy.
Go for the optioned one.

It's a little bit more.

Radio incl. Speakers / 5,8kg - 7,1kg, depends on the Radio. A/C 19kg.
totally filled system. Xenon incl. sprayer 2,5kg. PDC 1,8kg.

It's not so much, but on the other side i still can keep my weight.

Thanks for all the information you guys. Would you all be willing to keep an eye out for one for me??? I know to look on Pistonheads and eBay, but anywhere else I could look? How about German sites? I really want an RHD though.

Thanks again!

LHD CSLs are at a £10 000 premium (at the moment) over the UK RHD CSL prices and there are some Europeans, buying RHD CSLs for import back to Europe. If I was in their shoes, I would do the same
