Question BBS CH offset question

Hi guys,

An urgent question.
I am looking at a set of BBS CH wheels.
8.5 x 19 ET35 and 9.5 x 19 ET40

Do you think the offset is ok for the CSL ?

Thank you please.

Offset is fine but you will need spacers in the rear for the wheels to sit flush as with ET40 they will be right in the wheel arches.

BBS CH fitment for the e46 M3 is generally 8.5 x 19 ET35 and 10 x 19 ET 20.

OEM 9.5 x 19 rears have an ET of 27 so technically the CHs you are looking at will site 13mm further inside the arches when compared to the OEM wheels (which arent flush to begin with).

Hope that helps.

I use the CH in the sizes stated by Phat M3 and the rears fill the arches fine but i use 10mm spacers on the front

Do you run spacers on your OEM wheels too? As they sit in a lot further when compared to the CHs.

I run 10mm spacers all round with the standard CSL rims but take the rears off when using the BBS CH

OK thanks, which brand are you using, any comments on them? I need to get some spacers for the CSL wheels.

Eibach hubcentric spacers are pretty much the standard to get with a set of long bolts to suit the extra depth.

Me too - i chucked the box but they are sold under the 'KW' branding but did'nt appear to be that when they turned up. Look and work fine though.

I run 10mm on rears and 12mm Eibach on the fronts.
