Hi there

Question is did you hand them all their ass?

I'd hope so as I'd have thought the CSL was a much more capable car over old Capri's and Cossies.

Yep agree...some of those old Cossie are animals. I drove one with 480bhp and although the CSL was better in the bends on the straights it had no chance....Glad you enjoyed your day..

The ex Redline 3dr 4x4 Cossie was at Snetterton the other week and that bloody thing was rapid. The driver was having a hard time as the track was really slippery after some old Jag thought it would be clever to spit oil all over the track.

The Cossie can still cut it don't worry about that

Default Cossies and CSL's

Hi
I have a SG CSL and was fortunate enough to keep my project which is a moonstone 3 door cosworth, which was re-built from the ground up.

It looks completly standard as intended, but the engine was rebuilt & on the bench showed 387 BHP on 1.2 bar with some trickery added

It also runs Motec management ecu, which makes it more drivable.

The CSL and the cos are parked together in the garage, which looks great.
I can confirm the Cosworth is earth shattering in a straight line, dosent do bends very well tho, especially on boost!

It would beat the CSL in a straight line hands down even without traction control.
Love them both but very different animals!!!

Bloody hell that's good power for such a low boost pressure. My old Harvey Gibbs built cossie made 390BHP at 32psi with Blue injectors and a T35 turbo.

I miss it TBH, jealous of your garage
