Default Redish motorsport restoration

Anyone watched the YouTube videos of the full underside restoration of an e46 m3 ? I want it done to my car so much how much would that cost ? The attention to detail those guys go to would be worth every penny and the peace of mind knowing the job had been done right .

I had my subframe and more done by Redish late last year. £1700 inc VAT will get you your floor fixed and welded areas painted and body coloured under sealed. But once Redish have gone over your car and shown you all he pictures there is no way you will stop at that. I hear a full rear end refresh in the end bar RTABs as I'd just changed them. The final bill started with a 4.

Here's their thread - they write about the full underbody resto half way down:

clicky

Redish fitted the reinforcement plates and did the foam injection on my car. They're brilliant. They had an E36 M3 up on the ramp which had just finished having the full underbody resto, the quality was amazing.

Seeing that inspired me to do the little winter restoration project on my car, though I couldn't go as far as they do without the aid of a ramp!

I can certainly recommend them, and yes if I was to do it again, I would have got them to do a full restoration job for me.

That's the problem how much do you spend.im sure if we all look under our cars we would find plenty we'd like to replace. If you go all out and get the works done your car becomes a garage queen because your afraid to undo all the good work. And if you do the minimum you'll probably regret not doing more. If I decide it's the fix for me bearing in mind it's a ferry ride over the pond. Il be looking the restoration done may well be cheaper in the long run and a great selling on point.

Still in two minds whether Cesil is staying but if it is, a full underside resto as their video shows is a must.

Full underside looks superb.

Very expensive and should only really be done if perhaps keeping it.
