Few pictures from Bedford at the weekend. TD alloys still not arrived so borrowed some slicks:

Had slight drizzle all day, interesting stuff after lunch on cold slicks, uploading video's to youtube.

Car has plenty of potential.

For those that are interested, first proper stint of the day, ended up doing a few laps then waiting for something decent to chase at 9.38

Part 2 of 1st session:
Blue E46 vert M3, E9x, 350z, M5

Session 2:

Part 2 session:

Session 3 on cold slicks after lunch in drizzle:
BMW M3, Intrax, AP's, 4.1 diff.
Duncan following me on Cup2, I let him go at 8.40ish while I get heat into the slicks, a few spins by other cars, track starts to dry out.
At 12 min I pick up the pace as tyres gave me more confidence, nice little drag race with Duncan down the back straight, next up SG M3

Session 3 Part 2:

4 door BMW, R8 two M5's, E9x M3, track drying up

Ok, this M3 is set up perfectly, all mods have been great, you have followed me at Bedford and it corners really well.

4.1 is a fantastic mod.

The CSL has always had more power it feels up the rev range, say past 100 mph. With this M3 having no engine mods I think the CSL would just have that extra acceleration up the back straight. Im still changing gear at 7k revs to be nice to her.

With the rear wing removed I was 10 mph faster on the back straight hitting over 140mph. I think your CSL does that with ease on your fast lap.

My CSL dyno'd at 382 bhp and the other CSL's with maps are probably up near that.

Id say this might dyno at 300-320 bhp.

For it to really piss all over a tricked up well driven CSL it will need maybe cams and airbox and map, need another 20-30bhp.

Im sure it will stick quite close to yours and Barry's CSL bumper at the moment, well yours as Barry's is OEM.

When are you both next on track? Silverstone or Snett?

Should have rims middle to end of April.

Also what do you think is possible lap time at Snetterton in the CSL now, say average lap time, depending on temp and track conditions.

Your 2.10 is a monster time, could be done in a race car but think this car is to heavy.

Last full TD at Snett I was 2,15 in the damp/drizzle on slicks.

But before the gearbox failure first session was the quickest Ive ever been round but no go pro footage.

Not sure I can get 2:10 again at Snett, that was a good lap.
