Vauxhall scam?

Has anyone had a letter from Vauxhall asking if you are still the owner of your csl and to ring a number quoting an unique reference number?

Very strange. Are they about to launch something?

I'm guessing they only ring serial Vauxhall owners and in particular Cavalier owners of old, so most of us should be safe

Have you tried googling the number? Does it belong to vauxhall?

Only ever drive a VX220 and I didn't like that. More of an Opel man myself.

I had the same letter from a Vauxhall dealer in Milton Keynes, any more info on this?

Tried ringing the number but it was always engaged. Going to try first thing tomorrow morning. Curious to find out what this is all about. If they don't come clean they will not get the quoted reference number or any other info.
