Plus a new one looks a million dollars. It really needs making a sticky as you'd never realise unless you take the screen out 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Sign of it not being garaged, same as the mirror issue

Working towards having them racked up by early spring if poss then down to Barts for an oil change. Whilst there I'll get the aircon sorted as noticed last year that, if the weather is wet, the inside steams up like the local sauna. Have to use great self control not to ask the other half if she offers extras.

Anyhow, will be dipping my toe in the murky waters of exhausts at the same time. Listened to so bloody many youtube vids the mind goes numb. It doesn't really help that the sound quality isn't always the best.

Now that Barts do SuperSprint I'll likely be going down the route of a lightweight race back box and a non res centre pipe...and ear plugs in the door pocket in case.
Brian

you could join the Spa trip in April!!!

rack up some running in miles, bag a few pax laps and swing by Barts on return trip north for an oil service.

SuperSprint lightweight race back box and non res centre pipe.

Should be in at Barts in a week or so and will tie a visit to have them fitted when home.

Will give you a shout when in case you're about.

Good choice Brian

the non res offers more boom but it's easy to avoid.....stay away from 2000 rpm .

Just the cats and headers and then you'll really impress the neighbours!!

I think they've only just got used to the peace and quiet after the GP went.

It had a R56 Scorpion exhaust on it as a R53 one would no longer fit after the diffusers went on....loud isn't the word!

Test fit for noise levels..and before anyone asks, the centre pipe was shortened!!

Small update,

Having come to my senses and deciding Cesil is staying, it's time for some luuurve

Booked in end of July for a front end tart up on the paint. It isn't in a drastic state but, being a picky git, I want it right.

Then off to Paintshield mid August for the self repairing protective film for the front bumper / spoiler and also the bit of the bonnet from the top of the kidney grilles down.

Then into a Gtechnic detailer in Derby at the end of August for a 2 stage machine polish, coating of the Crystal Lacquer stuff followed by one of the EXO stuff, windows done and the wheels done.

No wonder I've never got any money
