It beggars belief that someone is willing to pay £80K for a car they won't use...........

I honestly think it will offer a better return than sat in the bank.

Not many CSL's still accumulating miles these days. Got to be less than 100 that aren't garage queens.

Matt

I get the fact the CSL in now on the investor's radar but the car market is hardly a safe bet.

I'm on my third csl having bought the first in 2006, these current values are taking a bit to get used to.

I don't buy this garage queen caper, I was the only csl @ DN13 in September out of 150 cars.

Yes the csl is more valuable these days but the DN guest list was something else

Viper Green 997 RS in a gathering of over 30 911's......all being driven by wannabe getaway drivers!!

Personally I do think cars such as the CSL are a safe bet. For me there are more reasons why this will continue to rise rather than fall. I, like you, have made a bloody fortune on mine, the speed of increase makes it almost feels false. That said, if I sold I know that in 5 years it will cost more to get back into one.

I agree, CSLs should be used, and good for you! You are a dying breed of CSL owner, along with a few other nutters here. Mine is under a cover in the garage as we speak and won't see light of day until March
