Let me know if you'd be interested in parting these out. I already have Alcons on the front but could be interested in your rear setup.

My quick subjective view.
As road brakes they are both overkill for the road so it matters little for road. For fast road use the Alcons are stronger than the ap's as they are larger heavier and more retardation is applied on the rears. Downside is that it doesn't have the granularity and feel of ap's or brembos. On track you can stand on it time and time again and it literally torpedos the car dead. So u can break later or at an angle into the corners, it remains stable. I find with ap's you can stand it on the nose and it feels more natural as the nose dives and weight sits on the front axels. With the Alcons both rear and front axel are stopped giving this dead pan even retardation. It's all subjective to me and to be honest you cannot go wrong with any proper bbk kit. |
