That's not good. You have race cats too? As that would constitute the full header back setup

so I think this is going to be marginal..

I currently am at 88db at 6k rpm and need to be under 98db so I thought I could get away with the supersaprint resonator and race backbox only. The whole upgrade is pointless if I can't make it on track due to noise..........

annoying.

Best thing for weight is get a custom 3 inch exhaust made up like Lawsy did on his M3, thats what Ill do next then you can specify DB.

As your be to close with any more add on's.

I cant make Snetterton as car is 95% finished

Wanted to go to see what cup2 are like.

88db at 6k is pretty quiet! Think I get 90 with just decats on a m3 system, and only ever get asked to rev to 5k

Billy Snett is last test for m current tyres, if still don't get on with them will go cup2 aswell. The session is fully booked now anyway

It's loud..at least the intake is and none of the testers can actually believe the nosie meter

It's just that with the exhaust out back where they take static measurements. That's the number.

does the resonator actually increase dB? i do hope that others with just the resonator + race box setup can let me know how loud it can be. We are looking at > 15kg of weight loss here.

Which is the main reason for having it.

Mine being a fully optioned car (which is supposed to be 1420kg), the -20kg reduction of the full system is very welcome.
