Pls leave it as is Felix

Buy an older car to trick up and hang out for the import restrictions to lift.

Had a good look @ your CS pics and have to admit with Ian and Co.

It's a lovely example and should remain oem. Mileage seldom seen so low.

Maybe a slight modification? How much could it hurt to add Front bumper.diffuser, boot lid?

Wouldn't hurt at all. I'd go for it if you can get all the genuine easily bolt-on parts, as you can always swap them back when needed and sell the CSL parts for a tidy profit at a later date (as no doubt these will escalate in value like the car).

I'd change the things you mention, plus the interior and if you can source a genuine roof, do that as well. You won't believe the weight difference of the seats and at nearly 1600kg, the standard M3 could do with a diet to "wake it up". By comparison, the CSL is like a go-kart compared to the GT car-like feel of a standard M3 (but you only get that feeling when you drive them back to back. However, I suppose compared to US cars, the standard car will feel agile anyway, but the CSL is on another level ).

Welcome to the CSL register Felix - You'll need a bit more than cosmetics to replicate a CSL.

If your only interested in the external appearance, that's a good start but you missed the carbon roof and the 8.5" front wheels: http://www.karbonius.es/web_ing/prod.../base_bmw.html
Have a word with 'm3dragon' aka Adam in CA, he knows what it takes and more importantly, how much!

PS: loose the shark fin a CSL wouldn't be seen dead sporting one of those!

Spot the Alcantara steering wheel with the 'M' button, CS ( CSL look) alloy wheels with narrower 8J fronts, etc.. It should also have the CSL larger front brake discs (rotors) and the CSL steering rack too
Oh, it seems that i missed that!

Indeed. Nice choice of putting CSL's steering rack.

Funny you mention as I have just spoken to him last night, yes it's indeed very expensive to go full CSL! I have decided to stick with the following,
Front bumper/rear diffuser/CSL boot lid/CF center console/CSL Front/rear seats/CF roof/CF door cards.

Can you guys please help me source this stuff!? So far I have
Front seats, CF center console, Diffuser, back seat minus the bench.

Looks like you missed the most important item - the air box, without that it won't sound like a CSL.
Hence the reason for attaching the Link.

As for genuine parts I'd say you would be very lucky in getting them, with the car being 10 years old a lot of parts are now longer available. BMW will no longer simply provide specific parts that are, without; a Vin, proof of ownership and a valid registration no.

You may have some success with ebay and recycled parts, but don't hold your breath.
