Default Thoughts on brakes.

A big might but, might look into upgrading the brakes.

Will be mainly to improve the looks as never been a fan of oem stuff.

Are APs the way forward?

Is it also worth doing the tears from a balance point of view?

I know they're good, have this set up on my R53 GP.

Just thought it may be worth asking ref other options for a CSL.

Plenty of options but the AP is one of the best available with a superb spare backup as im sure your aware already having a set on the GP.

Cheaper end K Sport, D2 then upto Stoptech, AP, Brembo, Alcon.

I will agree with Martin.

I had AP racing and now Brembo.
The Brembos that I have now are better than the AP but the cost is 2x times more and they are not 2 times better.
Maybe they are 5-10% better and that is in the weight and slightly better build quality.
Braking performance is the same !

I think as an overall package of performance, quality, weight and cost, AP Racing is the best.
I wouldn't think twice, just get the APs.

Martin by the way is the guy to sort you out with the AP racing brakes.
A great professional, very knowledgeable and provides consistently great service.
Might sound like I am advertising Martin but he deserves all the credit.

APs for sure - only the fronts needed to sharpen up the junk OEM braking performance and your balance will be fine if you fit decent pads to the OEM rear calipers.

Rear APs compliment the look though
