I take it the car felt ok? 285 all round sounds mad though.
The car is blisteringly fast for what it is, especially with it being DCT and the 18s gear it down a little as well. It is getting a proper plated diff (courtesy of Floren) and the same aero appendages as the GTS and then it will be a proper weapon. It's not my car, but a friends. I have yet to go up against it, but I am getting concerned as it has 15bhp per tonne more than the CSL now with both drivers in the car. It goes past normal E92s like they have the handbrake on LOL.

I'm beginning to think that there is nothing to worry about and it is just the pick up from the track on the cool down lap.

Going to play around with the suspension at the next evening session at Snet on Wed 14th May - I may take the CSL along if there is space to see how much more legs it now has . The power is definitely there, just not sure it is as well balanced as the CSL and it still feels like it lacks the delicacy of our cars, but boy is it brutal and the gear-change speed means the acceleration is just savagely relentless.

What sort of speed can it go round coram at or Hamilton?

Corner speed will be no better unless it has slicks and aero, it will mostly be in bhp to a tricked up e46

All done to laptomes Mike, what are they?

The owner is still learning the car, but was doing a consistent 2.20 lap after lap in traffic .

As Shimmy says without aero and slicks, it is slower than his Fiesta race car (with slicks) round Coram, which can do 90mph (but only does 2.31s, as it only has 118bhp).

The suspension needs further dialing in still, as it isn't quite right at the moment.

Without tyre temp data and matching tyre pressure then you can't tell anything from just looking at the tyre unless it's obviously fucked.

The hot pressure recommendations are a guide, only way to truly know is to compare gps lap data with tyre temps, pressures and cambers if you're going to get that level of detail.

Sounds like you're going to get the tyre temps and it's easy enough to do, just make sure you get the tyre pressure at the same time.
