Stansted to LHR options
One for the locals,
I need to get from Stansted to LHR terminal 5. I have had a look online but it seems to be a bit of a mare. Any local knowledge of a nice simple way? (I won't have a car). Cheers

stanstead to London liv street I think.
tube from Liv st to Paddington Paddington express to Heathrow (takes 15 mins!) don't bother with the Piccadilly line as it takes about 1 hour 15 to get from town. its a joke!

As per Das Chin. Circle line (anti clockwise) Liverpool Street to Paddington. Although I would add that the Express service from Paddington to Heathrow is extortionate. The slow boat (Circle line to Kings Cross and then Piccadilly line to Heathrow is a lot cheaper if you have are not in a rush ~£3.60 ish).

Depends on money & time but I have done this route many times.
Stansted to Totenham Hale. Pick up Victoria line to Finsbury Park walk across platform then Picadilly line to Heathrow. |

Plane's, trains and automobiles. Taxi might just be the easiest option for a Scottisher like me

Would just be a local taxi id be getting anyway as driving down and dropping the car off. Problem I have is no flights from Stansted to Aberdeen  so need to head to Heathrow.
