My friend has a standard E92 with EDC which I have driven many times, and the most noticeable improvement on the Litchfield car was...(no surprise for the owner of any M3)...the brakes. They were absolutely diamond sharp and perfect, but then if you look at the size of them, they make the AP's on my CSL look small.

The suspension was also much tighter, but I've not driven the Competition version, so couldn't compare.

I would definitely speak to Iain and get a drive, if you're interested. He told me that the E92 mule is something of a sleeper among his customers, in that almost every GT-R owner who drives it falls in love with it.

They are high up on my option mate. The only thing i am a little concerned about is road noise. Rattles and bangs etc. But they do look awesome. I believe this is the kit the Schimer cars out in Germany use? Does anyone have this kit on the CSL?

Cheers Terry how are you finding your E92? Brakes are sorted. The same Alcon kit as on the Lichfield car will be going on very shortly.

I agree with Terry - see if you can get a drive in demonstrator cars with the different kits.
Will give him a call on Tuesday for a Chat. My car is having the Alcon Kit same as on the Lichfield Car, just want to sort the suspension and do it correctly from the start.

The car standard Comp pack car is great on the road apart from the brakes. One on track tho the suspension is to soft and no where near enough camber on the front. Tyres don't last 2 track days on the front if pushing on.

Thats my Plan. As said Brakes sorted with the Alcons. Interested to drive the car with the Bilstein B16 dampers as fitted to the lichfield car.

Many thanks for the help so far.

Thanks for that Mike interesting read. Looks as tho the KW Clubsport get the thumbs up by most on here. Are the print rates the same on the E46 kit and E92?

No, the spring and damping rates will be completely different to take into account the extra 250kg weight of the E92.
