Some nice pics there Alex - That top deck seems to be Levente's favorite spot!
At least the towers appear vertical in these pics unlike his Pizza ones I was beginning to think he emigrated but who else would put up with him?

Well Elms kindly lent me a 1300mile F10M5 the other day whilst car got a look over.
It is so many things, but underneath it all it is a rocket ship. Relentless especially through the gearbox it seems to go on for ever with out taking a breath. Hotel you are enjoying yours Alex.

my little bird said it was very impressive funnily enough, I was at my local dealer last night and was shown a 13 plate m5 which had been in a bit of a bump........ well, completely and mullered are two words that could be described as an understatement as to its condition. lets just say there were 4 occupants and 3 of them were wearing seatbelts. the 4th was launched through the sunroof and is unfortunately no longer with us! the statistics are : 5 rolls : 40m dry stone walling demolished : from start to finish (1st impact to landing on its wheel...yes wheel as there was only one on it) the car travelled 158m :worst injury (other than the death) was a broken arm we (me and the BMW techs) all agreed it would make a great advert to highlight the sheer strength of the body as all the doors still opened and closed (the door frames did flap around a bit) and apparently the floor looked remarkably unscaithed. I was instructed not to take any pics as it is part of a police investigation due to the death. the removal of the main ecu's etc for the purpose of data retrieval to be read at Bracknell as part of the investigation. a shame £90k of german excellence ended up looking so sorry for itself a true super saloon!

Really loving the M5 shimmy. Have done more than 6000km already.
A fantastic vehicle. BMW hit the nail in the head. I cannot find a fault and in many things or details I think to myself 'at last, what I always wanted'. I wouldn't want anything changed or differently done. It is also very economical. Driving to work and back it spends less fuel than my Z3 coupe did (11-11.5lt/100km vs 12lt/100km). |
